The Souls Free Departure, Heather Indiana Rose
Mt Field in December, oh sweet essence of summer, the soul of nature; I honour this divinity and I’m purified by the tones she carries from heaven, awakening my heart to source.
I go to the river to bathe my feet in the cool water and cleanse the spirit of my blood. My eyes are surrounded by beauty, my ears the tones of joy. My skin feels the caress of the breeze and my feet are nourished from the cool dampness of the earth.
I remember the innocence of childhood at the river; days of wonder, curiosity and communion with each rock in the river bed and impressions from the crystals deep in the earth below. Each song line and water sprite cleansed my spirit as they danced along on their travels to a greater meeting place and to the sea.
How I love this place! How I am protective of its sacred wildness, I surrender to its glory and find newfound peace in my Heart. I pour my love into this land and the sun that nourishes me.
Here is a crow and a cool breeze, reminding me of my ancestors and days long past. I am a scribe, I record history, I am a writer, and I write my own story.
If the earth requires me to depart this place now, I must respect her wishes, I must savour this day and remember it well.
I must learn to honour myself, to nourish my body, nurture my mind, look out for the earth and to balance my heart to peace. Then may I truly be of service to Gaia my Mother, God my Father and my beautiful family.
Today I bathed my feet in the Tyenna River and it restored me nature, it restored me to Love.
